The BIRKENSTOCK QO500 work shoe with replaceable footbed offers a firm grip and relieves pressure on the feet, allowing you to walk and stand comfortably for many hours a day, even when working in a demanding environment. The QO500 is a simple, modern sneaker with a 6-hole lacing system. This ESD variant has been specially developed for people working with microelectronics or HF technology. ESD stands for Electro Static Discharge. These models actively ensure a permanent discharge of the wearer. The antistatic elements in the sole equalize potential electrical voltage differences between the person and the work environment by permanently 'grounding' the feet. You can recognize the ESD models by the round, yellow emblem. Please note: the ESD range is at values up to 35 MOhm and therefore does not provide insulation! Additionally, the oil- and petrol-resistant anti-slip sole ensures energy absorption at the heel. The upper is made of water-repellent smooth leather (WRU) and has antistatic properties. The shoe is certified according to EN ISO 20347:2012 and meets the requirements of safety class O2.
